Report categories

On the "Reports" page several reports are displayed in the so-called category panels. In the report categories manager categories can be created and added to the reports.
Report categories are visible to users if they have access to one or more reports within a given category.

This section provides a description of the standard categories:

• Miscellaneous: In this Category, reports that have no relation to specific categories are usually displayed here. These include course or content assignment reports.

• Achievement: Reports that display completion of courses or components such as test results are seen in this category

• Compliance: Contains reports that show details of completions, gaps or tracking for mandatory training activities such as compliance courses and competencies

• Content: Content reports show results for web-based training modules such as SCORM, AICC or even xAPI/Tin Can. Various media reports can additionally be added here.

• Activities: Many reports here display details of general system activities such as accesses to system, components, and general contents.

• Reaction: These reports contain results of user reactions such as Feedbacks from surveys are assigned here.

• Learning Paths: The standard reports for Learning Paths including overviews and detailed breakdowns for both content driven and level-based are assigned here.

Functions in the Report Category Manager

When creating/editing report categories it is possible to upload an icon that is displayed in front of the heading of the category panel. Color can also be defined to differentiate individual reports from each other by a colored frame.
