Dashboards and Panels

Dashboards are a way to communicate content or events to the user. Multiple dashboards can be created and arranged in various ways. Each dashboard comprises one or more panels that prepare relevant information for each role. Two types of dashboards can be created internal dashboard pages and dashboard pages.

  • (External) dashboard page: Shown to all users with access to the system URL. Not all panels are supported

  • Internal Dashboard page: This can only be displayed to logged-in users. Offers additional settings like ACL-based panels or welcome messages

Screen Reader Accessibility for Default Panel Images

Visually impaired users relying on screen readers can access descriptive alternative text for images displayed in the default panel. Alternative text ensures screen readers narrate the context or content of images effectively. Administrators must add alternative text when adding or editing image content in the default panel.

Note:

  • Applicable only to default panel images.

  • Alternative text is limited to a maximum of 100 characters per language.
