This is an important configuration area as it's where all default clearance rules for objects other than users are set, as well as a few other settings like "Secure course requests". Default clearances for users is defined in business rules either uploaded in "Configuration → Import" or in the "Clients → Settings tab".
In the configuration manager default clearances can be defined for all created objects in the learning platform. Individual user, groups or clients can be defined to have access on any created object (learning content, user, etc.) in the learning platform. The specified user, group or client will be added with the specified authorisations to the access control list (ACL)
