Re-certification - Next Enrolment Date

The enrolment date will be calculated based on the formula:

Enrolment date = "Next due date" - "Days to finish" - "Buffer days"

Further, the status of the course template is changed to "Personal syllabus" as soon as the enrolment is due. If "Automatic course enrolment" is activated in the automatic enrolment and a course is available for enrolment based on the template, the user is enrolled directly into the next course.

In the case of re-certification with a deadline, this value defines when a user is enrolled on the follow-up course, i.e. deadline minus days to finish defines the enrolment date. (Enrolment date = next due date - days to finish - Buffer days)

If no value is entered, the default value stored in the system configuration applies, usually 30 days (default value, if not changed, can be checked under Configuration > Enrolment).

In the following, you’ll find a list of examples how the enrolment date is calculated.
