Learning Analytics Manager acts as a bridge between the Microsoft Power BI service and imc Learning Suite.

The following configuration is required for each dashboard and
Name
The Name field cannot be edited.
Description
After configuration, the description is available on the LA landing page, on dashboard and report tiles, and inside reports and dashboards.
Help Content
After configuration, the help content is available in the reports.
Person Clearances
Person clearances should be selected when learner data is to be evaluated by the target user of the report or dashboard. Only learners for whom viewing permission has been granted are visible. In addition, the objects linked to those learners are visible. These can be further refined to Direct supervisor relationships, Edit rights to a user, View rights to a user, and BU supervisor/Deputy responsibilities.
Object Clearances
Object clearances should be selected when object-related data is to be evaluated by the target user of the report or dashboard. Only objects for which viewing permission has been granted are visible. In addition, the learners linked to those objects are visible.
Clearances
Clearances are handled as usual in imc Learning Suite.
When “Create” is enabled, the report can be copied. An existing standard dashboard cannot be copied. To create a dashboard, logging in to the Power BI service is required, and visuals can be pinned from a report to a dashboard according to requirements.
When “Execute” is enabled, the report or dashboard can be viewed.
When “Edit” is enabled, the report can be edited. An existing standard dashboard cannot be edited. To edit an existing dashboard, logging in to the Power BI service is required, and the dashboard must be edited there.
When “Delete” is enabled, the report can be deleted. An existing dashboard cannot be deleted. To delete an existing dashboard, logging in to the Power BI service is required, and the dashboard must be deleted there. Please note that if a report is deleted from either the Power BI service or the system, no recovery mechanism is supported. The report should therefore be deleted with caution.
Synchronize
The synchronisation functionality synchronises the dashboards that have been created and the reports that have been published to the Power BI workspace connected to the customer system with imc Learning Suite.
After the synchronisation process is completed, the reports and dashboards are available in LA Manager for further configuration.

Export Learning Analytics Configuration
The dataset model configuration is done in the file ModelConfig.json.
The JSON configuration file can be downloaded from LA MANAGER, inside LMS, by selecting the Export LA Configuration button.
