Admin access to imc Learning Suite
imc Learning Suite is on the new architecture to support the new Content Importer Service.
If this solution may be configured for customers.
Limitations
Academa currently does not provide status exchange via xAPI
To make progress visible in the imc Learning Suite, learners need to be able to mark the course as done by themselves.
Academa offers content only in German, so the import interface has no language search option.
Create a New External Service Provider
To import third-party content in imc Learning Suite, all prerequisites must be fulfilled to configure the systems and use the “third-party content provider” integration. To connect Academa with imc Learning Suite, a new external service provider must be established.
Description Tab
Begin by accessing the "External content providers" section, then create a new entry by selecting “Academa”. Complete all mandatory settings and API keys to guarantee the system's proper functioning.
.json File URL
For Academa, the import of course metadata is not done via REST API or GraphQL (e.g., for Udemy). This way, it provides the option to limit the courses available by the third-party content provider, e.g., based on licenses - in this case, Academa. Therefore, add the JSON file URL in the dedicated field in “External service providers”.
Proxy
The Academa Connector considers the proxy configuration set in the LMS. If a proxy is configured, the connector will route requests through it, ensuring proper connectivity.
