On-the-job Training Tasks
On-the-job training tasks are mostly practical activities to be completed by a member of staff within an on-the-job training. If required, the mentor will review a task after it has been completed. This can be set for each exercise, in addition to general description information. On-the-job training tasks are assigned to a required on-the-job training template.
To use this function, the "On-the-job training tasks" navigation item needs to be configured.

As well as description information, the following settings can be applied in on-the-job training tasks:
Staff members can mark exercises as complete: If this setting is activated, the member of staff will see a button for each exercise, which they need to click on to mark that exercise as complete. If the exercise requires assessment by the mentor, a status of "Being assessed" is applied to the exercise. Otherwise, a status of "Complete" is applied to the exercise. The mentor is also authorised to mark exercises as complete and can do this instead of the member of staff. Only if the on-the-job training template is set to task-specific is this option effective. Alternatively, using the template, the setting can be set globally for all tasks of the training module.
Tasks can be assessed as passed or failed: If this setting is activated, a mentor needs to assess the exercise as "Passed" or "Failed". If the staff member is authorised to mark the task as done, the task must have been previously marked as done. The exercise then has the status of "Being assessed".
Allow entry of a percentage result: Activating this option enables the mentor to enter a task as "completed", "passed", or "failed" in addition to a percentage result.
Assessment criteria: For a task, notes can also be entered. These should be taken into account when evaluating the task. Only the mentor of the training can see this information.
Feedback: A task can be activated so that employees and mentors can enter feedback for the task. For both user roles, it can be separately determined whether the function is available.
Attachments: A task can be activated so that employees and mentors can upload file attachments for the task. For both user roles, it can be separately determined whether the function is available.
