System Groups
System groups are used to manage user roles. In combination with business units (BUs), system groups can be used to represent and manage the organisational structure.
The group function defines a role (e.g. tutor, mentor, HR) for the group. Every user within the group with a group function inherits its role. This enables to e.g. choose these user as tutor, or grant these user HR-access to certain reports.
