Channel User Activity Report

Channel user activity report evaluates user activity within channels to derive actionable insights, such as:

  • Demonstrating that channels are not only subscribed to but actively utilized.

  • Identifying and comparing high-performing and underperforming channels.

  • Monitoring shifts in user engagement resulting from changes in channel content.

 The channel user activity report can help the channel administrator to

  • Improve content provisioning in channels

  • Increase learner engagement

  • Optimize channel utilization

To view the report and the data, following conditions should be met:

  • Channel license must be active.

  • Minimum “view” ACLs on the channel is required to view the information on the channel

  • Minimum “view” ACLs on the “Channel user activity report” is required to view the report in the Reports.

  • By default, “Channel user activity report” report would be added to the “Activities” category if channel license is active. In case this category is not present, the report needs to be added to another report category to be visible.

  • Medias opened - number of medias opened in the channel, counted only once per user

  • Media engagement rate - Medias opened divided by the numbers of users who have accessed this channel

  • Subscribers - number of current subscribers of the channel

  • Last user activity - date of last media opening within the channel
