An Event is a media type that represents a time-bound, scheduled learning activity taking place at a defined date and time. Unlike self-paced media types that learners access on demand, an Event anchors learning to a specific moment — bringing participants together simultaneously, either in person or virtually.
What it is
An Event media object defines a scheduled occurrence of a learning activity, combining logistical information (date, time, location or virtual meeting link, capacity) with the learning context (course, facilitator, agenda). Learners enrolled as soon they are enrolled to the course where this event is added to, and their attendance is recorded and tracked by the LMS.
Calendar appointments can be configured and sent to participants and tutor’s.
