Configuration Manager - File Formats
The "File formats" menu is essentially a whitelist of allowed file extensions for multimedia file, general files and image files. The extensions listed here will be permitted for uploads to the relevant media types.

Setting | What does the setting do? |

Multimedia formats | Valid multimedia upload formats, e.g. webm,aac,mp4,mp3,ogg,x-m4v |
Serial letter formats | Valid file upload formats for serial letters. |
External certificate formats | Valid file upload formats for external certificate upload. e.g. pdf |
File formats
On the tab “file formats,” all formats that the platform should support must be added. Initially, the most popular are already added. Only those that the platform doesn’t support from the beginning need to be added here.
