Using Attributes for Conditions in Target Groups

By way of the definition of target groups, users can be automatically assigned to target groups via defined rules and conditions. In the rules, as conditions, certain values of user attributes can be determined as a basis for a group affiliation.

Only certain attributes can be used as conditions in target groups based on the following form elements: Text field, Selection list, Check box, Date, Upload, Base client, Email address and Cost center.

If you search for an attribute that can not be used as condition, you will not find it in the returned results:

In the example above, we have searched for an attribute which is a "text-area" attribute type, and it is not part of the form-elements that can be used as conditions:
