How to promote courses with QR codes
What is a Course Enrolment QR Code?
It's possible to generate a PDF document for courses that contain the preview image, name, dates, location, and a QR code for enrolment. The QR code can be scanned using a mobile device camera and links directly to the course overview page. The course overview page contains full details of the course including the defined enrolment option.
QR Code Use Cases
The generation of an enrolment QR code is ideal for promoting courses outside of the catalogue. This can be used to notify select users directly or to physically promote important courses in public areas.
QR Code Generation
The QR code is downloadable via the Courses function. Highlight the desired course and click the Generate QR code for course enrolment icon. This will generate a PDF document that can be downloaded via the browser.

Clearances
As users will be directly accessing the Course overview page they will require Clearance to the course. This is best performed by granting ‘Execute’ Clearance to a Client or general Group (e.g. Students).
Where a user without Clearance to the Course scans a QR code there will be an Access Forbidden message after login.
