14.26 Feature Highlights
Each innovation pack contains some featured highlights that are celebrated more than others. These either introduce completely new functionality or contain important updates to existing features that impact most customers. Below are the featured highlights for IP26:
New Channels App
Overview: A new App has been developed specifically for Channels that will be available from 26.1 for both iOS and Android devices. The App is ideal for learners who want to continue their development beyond the desktop; For example, during commutes, breaks, or in moments between tasks. The app will display the learners' feed and option to explore channels; essentially the same functionality set as within the browser and platform wide search (in Channels context).

Like the imc Learning app, after login the Channels app branding will update. This includes inherited the customer system theme, logos, fonts and default images (same as shown in the LMS).
Benefits and Use Cases: Learners will receive seamless access to existing channel content optimised for mobile and tablet display formats. The app provides learners with additionally flexibility to learn whenever and wherever it fits best into their day.

Report Subscription by Administrators
Overview: Following many requests, administrators can now setup subscriptions to on-screen reports on behalf of individual users, groups and clients. This is an extension of the self-subscription where whitelisted users and/or groups could subscribe to desired reports to receive via email. The emails either contain report attachments or download links which is configurable. Scheduling frequencies have been extended to consider daily, weekly, every x week for selected days, and monthly.

The introduction of a subscription status enables activation and deactivation of this report subscription at any time. As per the self-subscription the generated report results will be the recipients' own ‘Default’ search for the report.
Benefits and Use Cases: Better service for users with reporting demands by pushing the reports directly to their email as needed. A common scenario could be to ensure that all Supervisors are receiving mandatory training due date related reports around compliance periods. The update additionally reduces the need for educating large user bases on how to subscribe to reports.

HTML Support for Notifications and Enrolment Messages
Overview: A long-awaited update has arrived to improve the editing fields of Notifications, System messages and Enrolment message texts. The new WYSIWYG editor provides more working space and enables the direct use of HTML formatting with the following buttons:

Bold, Italic, Underline and Strikethrough formatting
Format
Text color
Text alignment (Left-centered, Centered, Right-centered)
Horizontal line
Numbered list, bulleted list
Link/Unlink
Remove format
Paste from Word

Updated WYSIWYG Editor in the Notifications Text field
Benefits and Use Cases: The new WYSIWYG editor improves message presentation by allowing consistent styling and structured formatting directly within the editor; no more hard to read and write plain text. The extended size of the Text editing area enhances visibility to make text creation and editing easier for the administrator.
