Technical Updates
Scheduled Jobs Clean Up
Overview: The Scheduled jobs function has been updated to remove deprecated jobs including:

CurrentRatesImport
ERPMonitor
RamJobScheduler
Benefits and Use Cases: Scheduled cron jobs are used to automate various processes or tasks and can be configured by System administrators. Removing deprecated tasks from the available list of jobs will reduce confusion given they are no longer supported.

Setup & Access: Not required
Considerations & Limitations: -
Testing: Check the Scheduled jobs function by creating a new job to ensure these entries are no longer in the list.

Springboot Version Update
Overview: This is a technical update required for the Classification meta tag update for Easy Course Creation (ECC).
Benefits and Use Cases: Enables support of the latest version
Audience: System administrators
Setup & Access: Not required, change applied automatically.

System-wide Updates
SunEditor Replaces CKEditor in ILP/Microservices
Overview: This update sees a new editor in Learning Portal related components including description fields for ECC, Feedback forms, Forums, Messages, and On-the-job training. The new WYSIWYG editor will support the following functions:
HTML formatting
Sanitizing
Usage of placeholders
Remove format functionality
Copy-paste from Word documents
Extended fonts and characters
Supports the possibility to adjust fonts (new)
Supports PDF certificate creation
Supports existing image property handling on React pages and angular pages
Benefits and Use Cases: The new editor will improve the text editing options and provide consistency with text editing in the ILP front-end functions. The new better editor supports WCAG 2.1 compliance with keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility and allow customisation for accessibility.
Audience: All users
Setup & Access: Not required. Fields are automatically updated and content migrated to SunEditor format.
Considerations & Limitations: Requires Kubernetes micro-service architecture
Testing: In the ILP access any of the following functions or pages:
