Favourite groups allow users to create their own named lists of people, learners or tutors, so that they can quickly reuse them for recurring tasks, such as registering participants or tutors for a course, without having to search through the entire person database every time.

Area of Application
Favourite groups can optionally be enabled in the course workflows for learner enrolment and tutor allocation. If the option is enabled, a saved group can be selected directly during enrolment instead of searching for individuals one by one.
Current Limitations
-
No option to sort members within the group.
-
No 'default group' can be defined.
-
No selection of group type (learner/tutor) in the interface. New groups are currently always assigned to the 'learner' type.
