Working with Non-Productive Environments

This article explains some details about the work with non-productive environments such as test or staging environments.

Non-productive Environments of Customers

In order to test a new patch, different functionalities, different scenarios or to reproduce a potential error, you can use the Development system (also called DEV system) or the Test system (also called STAGE system) if available. These environments are only available if ordered.

Non-Productive Environments of imc

In addition, imc uses an internal environment, the so-called Reference System, which has the same configuration and software (including customisations) as your productive environments, as well as an anonymised copy of the database. Please note that there is no access to reference environments for customers.

imc uses the Reference system to analyse reported problems, but also to carry out a quality check before delivering patches.
