Standard Integration Services | Scheer IMC - Customer Documentation (EN)

This is a list of all available standard integrations for user authentication, user provisioning and organisation structure import. Examples are: SSO via SAML2 and OIDC, or user provisioning via CSV file import or SCIM.

The following aspects are important:

All services are based on standard approaches and consider typical use cases. The effort required may increase if customer expectations or complexity (such as scenario, requirements, or coaching) are higher.
In general all implementation projects are on a fixed price basis. A fixed price is normally given for a defined project or contract scope; consequently, the fixed price is subject to change if there is a reduction or expansion in the project scope.

SAML2.0 SSO Connector

License Needed	Yes
Functional Description	The LMS offers SSO integration via SAML2 that can be configured. The integration work covers the consulting, configuration, and testing effort to setup one SAML2 integration covering all customer environments (Production, Stage, Testing).
Service Description	Initial discussion and definition of scenario Setup for all environments Specification document describing the integration
Additional Note	Scheer IMC needs test credentials to test access or investigate problems

Open ID Connect SSO Connector

License Needed	No
Functional Description	The LMS offers SSO integration via Open ID Connect that can be configured. The integration work covers the consulting, configuration, and testing effort to setup one Open ID Connect integration covering all customer environments (Production, Stage, Testing).
Service Description	The LMS offers SSO integration via Open ID Connect that can be configured. The integration work covers the consulting, configuration, and testing effort to setup one Open ID Connect integration covering all customer environments (Production, Stage, Testing).
Additional Note	Scheer IMC needs test credentials to test access or investigate problems

User Data Integration Connector (CSV)

License Needed	No
Functional Description	The LMS offers to automatically create, update and activate/deactivate users via CSV user interface. The CSV user provisioning needs to be configured.
Service Description	Initial discussion and definition of scenario Setup for all environments of one user import via user import scheduling including mapping and registration rules based on provided data (e.g., group assignments, value assignments, grant assignments) Specification document describing the integration
Additional Note	The number of user attributes is limited to a maximum of 20. Customer has to define the unique identifier

User Data Integration Connector (SCIM)

License Needed	No
Functional Description	The LMS offers to automatically create, update and activate/deactivate users via SCIM user interface. The SCIM user provisioning needs to be configured.

Organisational Structure Integration Connector

License Needed	No
Functional Description	The LMS offers to import HR structure from an external source via a customer provided XML file. The standard template for the customer to generate the file against is provided by Scheer IMC and Scheer IMC provides support for integration testing.

Additional Note	Scheer IMC only provides an example (template) group import file in XML and is not able to support with the file creation on the customer side..

Exchange integration for Resource management in imc Learning Suite

License Needed	Yes. ILS Resource management
Functional Description	Connect the "Resource and Capacity Management" add-on with your MS Exchange Server. This integration enables the utilisation of MS Exchange-managed Rooms within the imc Learning Suite Resource Management module.
Service Description	Module configuration including enable microservice, configure licence, and activate external resource type (Rooms). Verify MS Exchange Rooms are visible in ILS. Coaching session (1 hour web session) on creating resources, adding them to courses/media, and using the resource calendar.
Additional Note	Customer must have the Resource management module configured in ILS. The customer is responsible to configure their Azure portal, in accordance with the documentation provided by Scheer IMC.
