Languages Services

This is a list of all services related to new platform languages from the existing list of available platform languages.

The following aspects are important:

  • All services are based on standard approaches and consider typical use cases. The calculated effort may increase if customer expectations and/or complexity (such as scenario, requirements, coaching, etc.) are higher.

  • In general all implementation projects are on a fixed price basis. A fixed price is normally given for a defined project/contract scope; consequently, the fixed price is subject to change if the project scope is reduced or expanded.

Functional Description

The LMS supports more than 40 platform (interface) languages (for some, only the learner view is translated).

Service Description

  • Licence update and language configuration (including platform and execution languages).

  • All customer-specific objects that are available in the new platform language will receive the default language translation (e.g., customer-specific user attributes will receive the English or German name).

  • Introduction session (up to 1-hour web session) to modify the client-specific language configuration.

Additional Note

An initial rollout of multiple languages is efficient and reduces the effort. After the initial rollout, every additional language requires extra effort.

Only existing (already available) languages are covered. New platform languages are not covered and require extra services (translation and integration).
